DDT ConstructionManagement Inventory System
This study aims to aid the DTT Construction business on tracking customer orders, their expenses, construction materials and products, and gross sales, innovating them from using spreadsheets into more organized reports and placing customer orders in a systematized fashion.
Purpose And Description
Evaluate the system performance
Create interface to store expenses data construction supplies, and customers' order
Objectives
Compute monthly expenses and gross sale
Tracks expenses, stocks of construction supplies
Display costumer orders and it's status
The system will be a desktop application made using Microsoft Visual Studio IDE and Database. it will be designed to manage pending and scheduled orders for construction supplies. The system will be equipped with a user-friendly interface to input and manage these orders efficiently. However, it's important to note that the project will not encompass real-time order tracking capabilities; instead, it will provide status updates once orders are marked as completed or scheduled.

The project aims to monitor the inventory levels of construction supplies, issuing alerts when these levels drop below predefined thresholds. Nevertheless, it's important to clarify that the system will not incorporate physical inventory tracking hardware, relying instead on manual updates. Moreover, advanced inventory optimization algorithms are not part of the project scope.

The system will be designed to record monthly expenses associated with construction supplies and calculate gross sales. It will generate reports presenting these financial metrics for users. However, it is crucial to acknowledge that the system will not integrate with external accounting software; users will need to perform manual data entry for expenses and sales.

The final objective involves evaluating the system's performance, usability, and functionality through usability testing, functionality testing, and user feedback collection. The assessment will focus on the system's accuracy and its alignment with the defined objectives. However, it's important to acknowledge that the evaluation will be subject to time and resource constraints and may not capture all potential issues. Furthermore, the evaluation will not encompass a comprehensive security audit or scalability testing.
