The Egyptian people were able to develop extraordinary works of engineering and architectur that until today are the bets legency of civilization.
They built great pyramids that were used as tombs for the pharaons and their families. It took workers many years of build these ancient buildings.
EGYPTIAN CIVILIZATION
The Egyptian culture has been considered one of the most important civilization of humanity.
They were located in northeast Africa, in the Nile River Valley between 3.300 B.C and 332 B.C.
The first pyramids was built in Saqqara, under the command of Pharaoh Djoser. (3er Dynasty).
In the IV Dynasty three (3) famous pyramids of Cheops, Kefren and Menkaure. (This is the only surviving wonder of the ancient world).

They also developed mummification techniques for pharaohs and rich people. The body was cleaned and perfumed, they put bandages on him to be conserved as long s posible.
Other important structures built are Karnak and Luxor.
After several years of growth and restructuring of the empire, pharaoh Akhenaten adopted the belief in a single Good called Amun. Akhenaten´s wife is the famous queen Nefertiti.
Then they placed the body in luxurious woonden sarcopphagi. Next to the boby they placed forniture, food and others for the next life.
Akhenaten had a son named Tutankhamen, who assumed of throne at the age 9, after his father´s death, the ruled for about 10 years.
The boy king Tutankhamen, became the most famous figure in ancient Egyptian for the Discovery of his tomb after 3,000 years in 1922 by archaeologist Howard Carter in the Valley King´s and was the mots important in history. This is the only intact Egyptian found so far.
King Tut´s mummy was inside three (3) coffins: 1º of woond and covered of gold. 2º similar but decored with precious stones. 3º of pure gold and with a weight of 110 kilos.
King Tut's tomb consists of 5 chambers with beautiful hieroglyphics on the walls that tell the step by step of his pharaoh's funeral.

There was found the famous gold mask, amulets and jewels.
Also carriages, forniture, food, wine, sandals, clothing, among others
The tomb contained around 5,400 gold and silver objects.
This is the greatest treasure discovered so far.

Tutankhamun´s treasures are in the current Grand Egyptian Museum about to be inaugurated, it will be present in two exhibition rooms with almost 5.000 objects that were found.
The tomb and body of pharaoh Tut is found in it´s place of Discovery, of the King´s Valley.
