the weather in cancun

Best time to travel to Cancun. Although Cancun is a destination that can be enjoyed at any time of the year, it is worth knowing that there are months when the temperature is ideal, with little rain and no tropical storms. The best time to travel to Cancun is during the boreal winter months, when the hurricane season in the Caribbean ends and the dry season begins, with little rain. These months go from December to April and are months in which the temperature becomes very pleasant during the day, without the sweltering heat of summer, ideal for enjoying the sun and the beach. The Best Time to Travel to Cancun: from December to April At night it cools down a bit, but very pleasant to go for a walk and do night activities.

Hotels in cancun

Most of the hotel rooms are located in the Hotel Zone, a 28 kilometer long stretch with the beaches of the Caribbean Sea on one side and the Nichupte lagoon on the other.

Cancun is a paradise accessible to all; The city currently has around 30,000 hotel rooms (not counting the Riviera Maya), enough for all the people who want to visit us. With 30,000 rooms operating, and another 5,000 on the way in the new development of Playa Mujeres, it is practically impossible not to find what you want.

Is located on the northeastern coast of the Yucatán Peninsula, facing the Caribbean Sea. It is essentially a service town for the L-shaped resort area of Isla Cancún (Cancún Island), which is 13 miles (21 km) long by 0.25 mile (400 metres) wide

many options to visit

Have you had a dream in paradise? Surely you are dreaming of traveling to Cancun and knowing one of the most beautiful parks in the world: Xcaret A short distance from Cancun is the city of Tulum, shortly before you will find the natural wonder called Xel Ha

Originally from the Yucatan Peninsula and loved by Cancunians, this delicacy is a must for pork lovers. The best part? The preparation! La Cochinita Pibil is marinated for hours in an explosive mixture of achiote seed, achiote paste, red onion and habanero chile. Some wrap it in giant banana leaves, almost like a gift from nature! Others serve it on a fresh bun for a more amazing experience.

In Cancun the taxi ride is not metered, so you must agree on the rate before leaving. Depending on the distance you are going to travel and the place where you are picked up, your trip can cost between 10 and 25 euros (210 - 525 pesos). We recommend that you check at the reception of your hotel for the approximate rate that you must pay according to the route you are going to make. It is possible that the taxi driver will accept dollars, but it will almost certainly be cheaper if you pay with pesos, also keep in mind that taxi drivers will not always have change for dollars.

It is very easy to explore the territory by bike or on foot. In the Hotel Zone you will find many attractions, restaurants, shops and hotels. Almost all the hotels and accommodations are within walking distance of the beach. Along the strip, you'll discover lots of lively and colorful restaurant chains like Señor Frogs or Carlos'n Charlies; the Cancun Wax Museum, and a multitude of boat excursions and snorkeling experiences that depart from the different marinas. Although Cancun itself is quite spread out, you will find that once in the busiest and most popular areas, it is very easy to get around on foot.

It is important that you remember that the fact of being a tourist will not prevent the police from stopping you if you break any traffic regulations. Drive carefully and respect the rules! It also helps to know the approximate amounts of fines for traffic violations, to ensure that we are not overcharged. Regarding parking, keep in mind that it varies depending on the place. There are tourist attractions where parking is free, although you may need to tip the valet attendant. In other places, however, you have to pay to park, so find out before leaving for your destination. As for finding a place to park, there are usually no big problems.
