Entrepreneurship Paper plane challenge
Activity 2. 10% Team challenge
Objective
Students will research, collaborate, communicate,and use creativity, crithical thinking and perseverance to innovate and find the better design for their paper plane.
Grades
This challenge carries a mark. It weights 10 % out of your final bimonthly grade. Grades will be assigned by taking into consideration the process and the result.
- In pairs or teams of three, you will design a paper airpane, capable of flying through a hanging hula hoop ring, carrying 2 one-peso coins attached to it (taped, sticked, glued, etc) and thrown by a students at a distance of 6 meters.
- Practice before the real flight.
- Use a regular letter size (bond paper) piece of paper (recycle if possible)
- You will be allowed to try twice before obtaining a grade.
- You must record the process. You can take pictures (at least 5) or record a short video (loop and boomerangs are welcome). The idea is to prove that you didn't do it 15 minutes before presenting. Evidence must be uploaded to the classroom post.
- Airplanes must be decorated and include the names of the team members.
Rubric (Checklist)
Responsibility, honesty, respect, creativity, team work, and enthusiasm are expected from high school students.

This year there will be a contest. The best 2 designs and pilots from each group (401, 402 & 403) are going to participate to win the 1st (edible) prize.
