Critical issues in U. S. education, including the structures of schools and schooling, theories of learning and teaching, politics of the American curriculum, student-teacher relationships, inequality, difference and diversity, contemporary youth culture, family, and community partnerships, teaching for social justice and educational equity in contemporary school reform policies.
