These conjunctions show the reason or cause behind an action.Examples: because, since, as

She couldn't come to the party because she was feeling sick.

These are adverbs that function as conjunctions, connecting independent clauses and showing relationships.Examples: however, furthermore, nevertheless, therefore, meanwhile
