Topics & Research

  • Write an argumentative letter on a local issue in your community. Use research quoted in the text of your letter to support your side of the argument.
  • Please make sure to find the appropriate official in your community to whom you would send this letter.
  • Ask yourself: What do I care about? What are my passions? What would I like to see changed? What would I like to see kept in place? What makes me angry when I see it in the news, and I want to do something about it?
  • If you don't have any ideas, please reach out to me - I can provide you with a list of topics as a jumping off point.
