Variable Pay Plans
UPL's philosphy is to compensate those employees going to the extra mile, that's why we have a Variable Pay Plan to recognize the efforts made during the year.
Go The Extra Mile
The purpose of this program is to recognize and praise individuals for an extraordinary effort/contribution towards a project within their function. It's a tool that all managers have. Key highlights:
- On-demand: The Manager can request recognition from HR. The Manager needs to clearly explain the reasons, projects, accomplishments, etc., for which the employee is being appreciated.
- Validation process: The recognition is validated by Human Resources and the N+1 Manager.
- It needs to be time-bound: The recognition is given right after the action for which recognition is being given.
- One-to-one recognition, and 150€ reward: The recognition is given directly to the employee and it receives a reward of 150€.
