  • Birth Date: April 22, 1724
  • Birth Place: Königsberg

His passion for studying was really huge, so he started studying philosophy and science at the University Albertins of Königsberg. But he left the university when his father died, yet he didn’t stop studying. He continued on his own. He came from a religious family.

Relationship with other philosophers & monarchs

His relationship with the monarchs was a bit difficult. Because he was always asking questions and not conforming with what others say, he made enemies like Federico Guillermo II, who asked him to modify his works. So, he was really controversial at that time. After that time, El Papa Pío VIII forced people not to read “The Critique of Pure Reason”. Those are his main enemies, so we can conclude that his relation with monarchs was not something that he’s proud of.
