There is a visual parallel between the nature , the dauntless and fearless aspect of the bikers who travel into the untamed landcape in all the documents.The aspects that can be derived are of individualism and freedom from social constraints .The bikers do not conform themselves to the criteria established by the society, they look for freedom / seek liberty that characterizes the American Spirit

Doc 3 P 83 , On The Road Jack kerouac 1957 ,
answers : The road might symbolise their trip which seeems like a destination in itself / the rear view mirror : what they are leaving behind. The Narrator is driving in this extract and they are all excited and hysterical : jumped / blasted / fooled around / radio on full blast / beating / what kicks = They do not conform themselves to a good behavior which is adequate when you are driving. The extensive use of commas and semicolons gives a quick and loud rythm " the purity of the road"= a nominal sentence conveys / represents the immediacy of what they are experiencing in the car . Alliteration on "d" = mimics Dean's gesture. This passage illustrates the Spirit of the Beat Generation : people only care about moving and about the present time .Assonances and alliterations conveys a sense of energy and excitment : this reflects the exacerbation of the narraor's senses.
