Grading

Attendance & Participation

In this class, you earn 5 participation points per day that are factored into your final grade.

You earn participation points by doing ONE of the following:

• Attend class live. By attending class live at 11:50, you will AUTOMATICALLY be awarded your 5 points.
• OR
• Complete the daily lesson in its entirety on your own. Lessons are pass/fail and graded on completion/effort. You will earn a 0 out of 5 for incomplete lesson submissions.

Consequences:

• 1st infraction: Mrs. Kessel will speak to you 1:1 after class. Under extreme circumstances, you may be removed from the zoom-room without the option of re-entering.
• 2nd infraction: Your care-taker will be contacted.
• 3rd infraction: Your homeroom teacher and assistant principal will be contacted.

Cheating &Plagiarism

Plagiarism: Using another's thoughts or words as your own. The use of AI will also be considered plagiairsm.

If you are caught cheating or plagiairizing:

• You will earn a 0 with the opportunity to resubmit after speaking to Mrs. Kessel 1:1.
• Your care-taker will be contacted.
