ANIMAL TISSUES
TISSUES
Tissues are groups of specialized cells that work together for a particular function. In humans, combinations of different types of tissues make up organs and groups of organs work togrther to form organ systems.
THERE ARE FOUR TYPES
ANIMAL TISSUES
- Epithelial Tissues
- Connective Tissues
- Muscular Tissues
- Nervous Tissues
EPITHELIAL TISSUES
Epithelial Tissues are the covering or protective tissues in the animal body and cover most organs and cavities within the body.
TYPES OF
EPITHELIAL TISSUES
CUBOIDAL

CONNECTIVE TISSUES
The different types of Connective tissues are Areolar tissue, Adipose tissue, Bone, Tendon, Ligament, Cartilade and Blood. Binds cells and organs together and helps protect, support, and integrate all parts of the body
TYPES OF CONNECTIVE TISSUES
BLOOD
AREOLAR TISSUE
ADIPOSE TISSUE
BONE
CARTILAGE
TENDON
LIGAMENT
MUSCULAR TISSUE
This tissue is responsible for the movements in our body. Muscles contain special proteins called contractile protein which contract and relax to cause movement.
TYPES OFMUSCULAR TISSUES
NERVOUS TISSUES
Electrochemical signals create nerve impulses which then communicate around the body
