Software not listed in LanDesk Portal Manager
Under Windows Start menu is the “Portal Manager” “Portal Manager” is the interface where the user find’s the distributed software and start’s the installation
In case that software is not listed on Ivanti Portal Manager, close it and do un update, see + info

Installation Logs
In case that Ivanti still does not shows up the software or either gives a faiilure when installing, proceed with manual installation
If manual installation fails, please document the ticket with Logs and escalate to GI System Management

Click on SSP7 option
Software Installation from Ivanti
In order to install the software, select the desired software and hit Launch
Software Repository (SWRep)
Consectetur adipiscing elit
To access software repository, in the Windows EXPLORER link bar, type \\swrep\swrep\_DSSWD and hit Enter The entire list of software used in continental will be displayed, look for the software folder and to install double click on Deploy-application.exe
Overview Mail
After subitting their request utomatic generated overview mail for the software request
User receive notification via mail when the software should be available for installation via portal manager
Check Installation Logs
Logs are always called with the Software Code upfront Inside you can find hints what went wrong with the installation They are located on C:\Windows\DSClient\Log
Software not listed in LanDesk Portal Manager
Once you closed Ivanti.Proceed to open Continental Control Center. Click "Update GPO´s" & "Refresh CMI data" Once they finished re open Ivanti and software should be displayed now. Note: This Applies too for Admin Rights on the comptuer.
Software Request path
Users have to go under New Request > Hardware & Software> Software > Software Installation (Automotive & Rubber)
Open CCC
- In The “Continental Control Center” User needs to select the “Employee Self Service” tab
