Personal Reflection
Throughout my college journey, I have changed my major a total of three times. First it was journalism, then film, and now communications. I did this because all my life , I was always made to believe that you only had to have one passion and that one passion would become your lifelong career. Because of this, I always felt stuck. I didn't exclusively want to work in broadcasting, I also wanted be in more artsy medium of videography , like film . On top of that , I was also interested in magazine writing, Title IX law, and photography. In short - I felt like I had to be put in a box and only pick one job. It wasn't until I came to St. Mary's that I learned that all my passions crossed over in the field of communications. I say this in my reflection because what I use to view as a weakness of mine, I now view it as strength. My current desired career path is to be a writer and editor at a magazine whilst also working in Title IX law. But now I view having a diverse group of interests is no longer my insecurity but my superpower.

Multiple Creative Skills such as photography, content creation etc.
"Legal" and fair point of view when analyzing and approadching topics
I don't have a site/portfolio to show any of the art I've created
No technical legal positions yet - just pre-law classes & research
Insight on Inclusion & Diversity - keeping all audiences in mind
"Jack of all trades but master of now" weakness

Collaborate with other creatives to create more editoral photoshoots
Work with Title IX here locally - gain experience.
Possibility of not being accepted into law school
People with a stronger online presence/ LinkedIn
Younger students than my age going into law school earlier than my age
