Tips for Outlook

• Outlook status not working
• Refresh the Outlook Address Book: Outlook -> File -> Account Settings -> Download Address Book.
• Refresh the free/busy time multiple times: Outlook -> Meeting -> Scheduling Assistant -> Options -> Refresh Free/Busy
• If this does not help, you can check the free/busy time in OWA.
• Go into Outlook, then File, then Options, then People. There's a checkbox that says "Display online status next to name." Make sure that's checked. Thank you for your support

Tip for OneDrive

• Activate the Synch button in OneDrive, use KBA00002974
• Navigate to preferred document library, click on the wheel in the upper right corner.
• Select Library Settings
• Select Advanced Settings
• Search for "Offline Client Availability" -> "Allow items from this document library to be downloaded to offline clients?"
• Choose Yes
• Click Ok

Tip for PowerPoint

• How To Enable Empower Add-In in PowerPoint

Sometimes Empower will not run when PowerPoint is started. The Add-In somehow gets disabled. To enable the AddIn follow the steps below:

• Perform the "ReactivateAddin.exe" in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Made in Office\empower"
• If the problem is not yet solved: In PowerPoint/Word click on the Office button, go to PowerPoint Options and click on Add-Ins;
• Select the "Disabled Items" option from the drop-down list by the Manage menu;
• Select the Empower add-in and click Enable;

Tips for Teams

• Teams Add in, If basic support for Teams add in, try this

• Sign out from Teams.
• Close Teams.
• Update GPO´s and refresh CMI data.
• Login Teams
• Re open Outlook.
• Teams add in should be there, if not re install Teams.

Tip for Excel

• Opening MS Office file from Sent Items brings error 'File is corrupted'
• Open a new Excel file > click on File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings...

• Go to Protected View > unselect the 3 options:}

• Press Ok and restart the application.
• Note: The same is valid also for MS Word and Powerpoint!

As you can see, external license is not allowed to use Teams, that is why they have to create a special request, the difference between this two license is the first one is for personal identities and second one is for Service Accounts

In Powerpoint we have the official Continental-Colours in the AddIn Empower. If you want to use these Continental-Colours also in Excel-Charts or in Word-Design, you have to copy and save the attached Continental.xml - File into your Userprofile: C:\Users\uidxxxxx\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates\Document Themes\Theme Colors (the values in the XML-File are taken from the Continental Brandhouse Documentation)
