Radio Industries continued expanding despite the Great Depression

It was the first marketing course, offered by the University of Pennsylvania, as brands needed to increase efforts on the correct use of mass communication

The radio industry became more affordable and provided accesible entertainment

First radio commercial was aired in New York

The first television advertisement aired during Dodgers and Phillies baseball game, with an estimated audience of 4,000 viewers. This methodadded more opportunities for brands to reach consumers in a growing media landscape.

It announced an apartment complex. Radio later overtook print advertising.

Tracked data of when someone clicked a displayed content. Companies use it to promote their services and tie them directly with search engines to make them easy to find.

With technological innovations and the need to continue being connected during the pandemic, came tools like Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence. They help visualize products or services in a more immersive way, involving both fantasy and reality to create a more appealing experience for consumers

First print advertisement in history

Although the first marketing print advertisemen produced with the printing press took place in the 1450s, the first print advertisement in history goes way back. One of the preceding ones was found in Egypt, consisting of a papyrus from a weaver who offered a reward for a lost slave.
