Cytoplasm
1. A light-coloured gelatin mix, such as a lemon-flavored jelly. You can also purchase a clear or light-colored fruit juice (like lemonade or limeade) along with unflavored gelatin packets. This will eventually be your cytoplasm. It is important that you pick a light colour so that the other cell components will stand out.
Cell Nucleus
2. Take a chocolate coin candy and take the foil off. Another option is to use strawberry puff candy. Thenplace it on top of the cytoplasm. This brown candy is going to be used as the cell nucleus. An other option is to use a small chocolate muffin or a strawberry puff candy and press it into the center of the light-coloured gelatin.
3. Dip one side of a Gobstopper into the white frosting and push it into the top of the strawberry puff for the nucleolus.
4. Take a pile of black liquorice spirals to make the cell or the plasma membrane. Stretch out the liquorice and make sure that encircles the entire cytoplasm.

5. Use Hubba Bubba bubble tape or sour tape to model the golgi. Make the shape of these according to the picture of your cell. Golgi resemble elongated grains of rice. Make these by twisting pieces of sour tape between your fingers. 6. Stack them together and lay horizontally on the cytoplasm.

7. Make mitochondria with red bricks of liquorice . Take two or three pieces of liquorice and put them randomly arranged on the cytoplasm.

8. Use glased gummy sour worms (coated in sugar) as the rough endoplasmic reticulum . This is the second biggest organelle on the cytoplasm. Grab a bunch of gummy sour worms and place them around the nucleus. Place the RER between the nucleus and the Golgi apparatus.9. Take sour worms without sugar to make the smooth endoplasmic reticulum. Place them near the cell periphery.

10. Take a bunch of candy sprinkles or beads of candies to make the ribosomes. Scatter them across the cytoplasm.

11. Press six gumballs or jellibeams all across the jelly for the lysosomes.
