Use the correct word orders

In closed questions, the word order typically follows the pattern of "auxiliary verb (have, be, do) + subject + main verb + rest of the sentence." When asking closed questions in the past tense, apply this word order while using the past tense forms of the verbs.

Asking about past actions

Confirming facts
