More information about ICT Literacy

ICT literacy refers to a set of user skills that enable active participation in a society where services and cultural offerings are computer-supported and distributed on the internet. This concept can be developed in a lot of educational systems where the main goal is to achieve skills that the student could use in the future in order to become a better professional, regardless of the career path that he/she chooses, because nowadays it's very weird to not see a professional environment where the central axis is the digital or technological world.

It became famous in 1997 when Dennis Stevenson (Former chairman of HBOS) used it in a report to the UK government.
