The SMARTPHONICS course leverages students' smartphones for scientific experiments anywhere, anytime. It transforms smartphones into mobile laboratories for authentic scientific experiences, promoting autonomy and teamwork in students. Implemented in Physics for first-year degree students (1700+ participants since 2016), it fosters students’ understanding and creativity through new pedagogical resources and international collaborations.
