Step One: Use the first column to create a list of your personal qualities including: skills, qualities, interests and experience. Step Two: Drag boxes from column one into column two in order to imagine which of these qualities you'd bring to the role you're ideating for. Step Three: Use column three to think about the emergent qualities you can activate for this role. E.g. can you combine teamwork skills from a sport with creative skills from an art degree to activate skills in creative teamwork? (This concept draws on the philosophical idea of 'emergent properrties' - learn about these via the link.) Step Four: Use your ideation to write some notes about how you can use your qualities and emergent qualities to perform the role. Think about this as a pitch for the unique way you'd perform this role, similarly to how an actor pitches their take on a character at an audition. Tip: Take screenshots of your ideation and bring them to the conference. The notes you make remain visible when accessed from the same browser but they won't stay where you left them.
