With this lesson you will learn how to activate the GPS.

Start

Use the buttons on the right to navigate the following interactive guide to discover the steps of the GPS Activation.

STEP 1

Plug in the gps device with the ODB II conectors. If the gps does not have power or is not pluged in, it wont be able to activate it.

Step 2

Open the url https://activateit.ituranusa.com saved in the bookmarks of your tablet. And log in with the credentials that IT gives you

Step 3

Scan the GPS code number with the camara. And select the option "Assign & Activate" See the following video with the step 1, 2 & 3.

Step 4

Select the camara button and scan the VIN Number. Automatically the system will put the "Year" and "Make information" in their text boxes. Select the "label" text box and automatically thw system will copy the Vin number.

Step 5

Go to the platform https://go.rapidrecon.com, select Stock#/ VIN and Search workflow, put the VIN Number in the text box and click on the button of search.

To retreat the stock number, copy the VIN number from the first field.

Step 6

In the “Results” area, select and copy the Purchase/Auction number.

Update the stock number and the color in the activation platform.

And click on the button "Begin Activation".

Select "Save".

At the “Begin activation” step, wait while the GPS activation run. Once it finished the "Pass" button will be activated. Select it to complete that process. And repeat this steps, until the "Yes" or "Pass" button are available to select it, and begin with the other stage. Do this during the steps: "Begin activation" "Ignition Sense" "Locate Vehicle" "Heartbeat 11H Configuration" "Custom Configuration" Watch the video where you will find the steps in real time.

Step 9

When the "Activate device" process is ready, the system will give you a "Confirmation number" that will verify that your GPS is correctly activated and configured.

Once the previous steps are completed, in the "Activate device" section, select the "Complete activation" button.
