1. How has climate change impacted this area?
- Using a legacy regional hydrological scale temperatures are rising 1.5 degrees Celsius over the next 50 years. - Increased evapotranspiration,
- Change in rainfall.
- Increase in 0.46 m in sea level rise
Click the link for more information on how everglades is impacted from climate change !
The everglades is a wetland that is home to many species and one of the most unique habitats in the world. Changes in weather patterns will cause for species to have to adapt over the next couple of years where it will be difficult sense vast changes are occuring over a short time period.
What is currently being done to help combat or remedy the situation?
1. Adaptive restoration plan: incorporate climatic and environmental restoration plans, structures and management. 2. Maintain Critical Landscapes and facilitate transitions in others.
Global Efforts:
Clean Air Act: help in reducing hazardous emissions among many laws to help combat climate change Renewable energy initiatives Energy efficiency

Where else in the world is experiencing a similar form of climate change? Location: Effects of aquatic life in North East Region of India How does this affect the region around it? - Increased temperatures observed by 3.7 degree C - Siltation - Erosion - Flashfloods in wetlands, lakes and resovouires - Effects fish metabolisms, growth, behavior and migration

What effects does it have globally? - India is the most populate country in the world. - Decrease in food production from aquatic life. - Globally climate change is increasing at a very fast rate in comparisons to earths geological time and will be catastrophic unless measurements are put in place to stop or slow down its effects.
