Purpose

  • Support for early career educators
  • Earn a Clear Credential

Eligibility

  • Early career educators who have earned their Perliminary Credential and are employeed in a partnering district

State Guidelines

  • Must complete within the first five years after earning preliminary
  • Will be enrolled within the first year
  • Induction is a job-embedded program
  • District pays tuition and receives progress and participation reports

Enrollment Process

  • The district provides information to the Induction Program
  • The Induction Program creates an account
  • The district assigns a mentor
  • Induction program makes contact with mentors and candidates via email

Launch Meeting

  • Orient to program by attending a Launch Meeting
  • Review Individualized Learning Plan (ILP)

Candidates begin working on their ILP Components:

  • Mentor Support and Collaboration
  • Learning Inquires (observations, projects, focus student study, etc . . .)
  • Professional Learning Opportunities (PLOs)
  • Program Meetings (Launch and Follow Up)
  • End of Year Presentation

Follow Up Meeting

  • Overview of second half of the year.
  • Opportunity for questions

Upload Reflections

  • Candidates complete ILP components andf reflections
  • Reflections are submitted for program staff to review periodically throughout the year

Presentation

  • As a culimating activity at the end of the year. Candidates will create a slideshow and present their learnings
