RISING ACTION in "ALMA"

In Alma's advent to get ahold of the doll, she encounters the following:

  • The doll disappears from where it first emerged from and reappears somewhere deeper inside the shop.
  • Alma couldn't enter the shop because it's locked.
  • When the door opens on its own, Alma enters the shop. The door closes behind her.
  • A particular doll seems to want to escape from the shop, continuously banging on the door.
  • Alma's doll disappears again and reappears somewhere on the shelf.

RESOLUTION

The mystery surrounding the shop continues as it produces another doll, most likely to catch another victim, while Alma along with the other dolls watch helplessly. One can also deduce that everyone whose name is written on the wall has now turned into one of the dolls in the shop.
