Submitting Pilot Deliverables

After enrolling in the pilot, participants started blended onboarding in the TEALearn Hub. After August 7, onboarding will be completed in role-specific courses. Role-specific expectations are outlined in role-specific checklists. Semester 1 and 2 checklist deliverables will be completed in the role- and product-specific TEALearn courses. These checklists will be launched during the school year.

Evaluating Deliverable Completion

Participants can check the completion of pilot deliverables through their TEALearn gradebook. This FAQ describes participants' steps to evaluate the completion of CRIMSI deliverables. Gradebook assignments without “-” are complete. Gradebooks are updated daily by noon on business days, reflecting assignments turned in by midnight the day before.

Canvas Notifications

Gradebooks

Emails from Canvas (notifications@infastructure.com) are not evidence of completion, nor are notice from Canvas Support through their hotline or chat.

Always refer to the TEALearn gradebook to evaluate whether CRIMSI received a deliverable.

To help participants stay on track, CRIMSI sends monthly deliverable status updates to all CRIMSI roles starting in August 2023.

Participants are encouraged to contact CRIMSI as soon as possible if they have questions or concerns regarding their submissions. Please do not wait until the end of the pilot for support.

Qualtrics Email Receipts

Module Checkmarks

Save email receipts from Qualtrics surveys. In case of a grade book discrepancy, the CRIMSI support team will manually use the receipt to award credit.

Green checkmarks on modules are not evaluative of deliverable completion.

Email & Communication Guidelines

Reading the monthly newsletters is a requirement for all CRIMSI participants. Review the monthly newsletters for important pilot updates and guidance on time-sensitive action items to ensure a successful pilot experience. Whitelisting the crimsi@tntp.org email address ensures successful email delivery of all pilot communications.

Here’s a guide on whitelisting the email address. Whitelist crimsi@tntp.org and noreply@tea.texas.gov.

Refer to the Newsletter Archive FAQ for a repository of CRIMSI newsletters sent to all CRIMSI roles.

The CRIMSI Support Team offers Office Hours weekly so participants can speak with CRIMSI on Zoom. We do not have a support phone number.

Protocol Submissions

Coach module example:

After implementing protocols of practice, CRIMSI participants will submit a survey answering questions about their protocol experience. Protocol submissions including Lesson Internalization, Lesson Observation, Lesson Rehearsal, and Student Work Analysis do not require an upload of the completed protocol document. Participants should navigate to the “CRIMSI Data Collection” module near the top of their TEALearn course’s Modules page to access the month-specific protocol surveys required as outlined on role-specific checklists.

Teacher module example:

If a participant faces an issue submitting a protocol survey, they may refer to this troubleshooting protocol survey FAQ for guidance.

Feedback Surveys

To provide TEA feedback on implementation, participants will submit the Pre-Implementation and Quarterly Feedback surveys emailed directly to them. Surveys are time-sensitive and must be completed within the window listed in each email.

Communities of Practice (CoP) Sessions

Reference the role-specific Scope and Sequence to identify modules that should be completed before attending a live CoP Session. CoPs will discuss the application of collective learning and will engage participants in problems of practice to tackle implementation challenges. Instructional school leaders, coaches, and teachers are assigned a cohort of 10-15 participants who they will collaborate with during three assigned sessions throughout the pilot. Sessions must be attended virtually live. Asynchronous options are not offered. The Zoom link for each session is accessible through participants’ TEALearn course, and dates/times are listed on the TEALearn To-Do List. Make-up sessions are available to participants who miss their scheduled sessions. Participants in need of a make-up session are responsible for checking the make-up CoP FAQ for registration details or emailing crimsi@tntp.org for support before the date of a scheduled make-up session. Make-up sessions are always announced in monthly CRIMSI newsletters.
