Communities of Practice

Coaches and teachers will attend their first community of practice (CoP) session at the end of August. Throughout the pilot year, coaches will attend six sessions, and teachers will attend four sessions. Participants will receive an email outlining this requirement and relevant session access information. Instructional school leaders will attend their first CoP session in late September through early October. Instructional school leaders will attend three sessions throughout the pilot year. CRIMSI Leaders will receive access to CoP lookup tools which will reinforce their ability to support participants.

In this session, instructional school leaders will (1) examine continuous improvement efforts that support HQIM implementation; (2) identify success factors and metrics trends that impact implementation efforts; and (3) plan for continuous improvement by identifying and executing targeted implementation supports. To prepare for meaningful session engagement, instructional school leaders must review Section 7: Progress Monitoring in the Campus HQIM Implementation Plan and complete their Progress Monitoring Data Submission by Monday, September 11, 2023. Instructional school leaders must attend synchronous, collaborative Progress Meetings live as they are a requirement for stipend eligibility. Select and register for one of the following options, each held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. CT:

  • Tuesday, September 19, 2023
  • Thursday, September 21, 2023

Complete Onboarding Sessions 1-4

Complete sessions according to district- or campus-specific guidance. Session options will be facilitated in the following formats: asynchronously, synchronously by content expert, or synchronously by local leaders.

Determine and Communicate

Teacher Onboarding Delivery

Initiative leads will collaborate with school leaders and other district officials to determine teacher onboarding delivery method. Once the determination is made, initiative leads must communicate to teachers how their onboarding will be completed using the customizable templates located in the Teacher Onboarding Outreach Folder nested in the CRIMSI Google Folder. Initiative leads access and complete the Registration Survey to finalize delivery determination.

Save the Date for Required Progress Meeting 1

In this session, leaders will examine continuous improvement efforts that support HQIM implementation. To prepare for meaningful session engagement, leaders must review Section 7: Progress Monitoring in the District and/or Campus HQIM Implementation Plan and complete their Progress Monitoring Data Submission by Monday, September 11, 2023.
