Two courses of study

We provide 14-to-19 year learners with two main options: Liceo Scientifico Nuovo Ordinamento and Liceo Scientifico Opzione Scienze Applicate.

Liceo scientifico: Academic approach and focus on both scientific subjects (mainly Maths and Physics) and humanities (Latin, History, Philosophy)
Liceo scientifico : It has a more empirical approach and lays emphasis on science (Biology, Chemistry), technology (ICT) and laboratory activities

In the 5th (and last) year I teach History and Civics through CLIL methodology I'm part of a pilot project: multidisciplinary course on Philosophy and Physics (CLIL)

READING ALOUD LAB

I run a Read-Aloud workshop

I strongly believe learning is a process that has to respect the deep entanglement between the two cultures (scientific and humanistic knowledge). My aim in this school is to bridge the gap between science and humanities. I do believe humanities are pivotal in the development of young people as world citizens with critical thinking. In the rise of technologies (such as AI), those are issues we promptly need to address.
