it is explained that learners retain information based on their interactions from peers that have a better understanding.

The sociocultural theory believes that a learner is directly influenced by their environment (family, peers, society, etc.)

Connectivism

This theory is fundamentally based on our intrinsic motivation and how our interests motivate us and keep us engaged. memories are best made when they are conencted to past events, strong emotions, and/or your interests.

The lead theorist as George siemens with his theory based on his belief that technology connects us to our interests

learning occurs when peers are connected while also sharing opinions, viewpoints, and ideas collaboratively
