The Stem
The stem of a flower holds the flower upright, and acts as a pathway for nutrients and water to travel from the ground up to the flower to help it grow and bloom. Without the stem, a flower would have no way to reach the things it needs in the soil.

False!
Flowers need a lot of water to be allowed to grow. If you ever want to grow flowers, you'll need to make sure you learn about the flowers you have. How much water do they like? Shoud I water them when they're droopy or dry? Plants need water like we do!
Petal
The flower's petal is the most popular part of the flower because of it's color, but petals help attract pollinators (like bees) who help keep them alive and spread their pollen around. You'll find a link to a garden near us. Explore the site!

Style
The style of a flower helps transport the important nutrients to the very top of teh flower and helps fertalize it. Without the style, we wouldn't have very many flowers at all.
This flower has a really long style. Not all flowers do!

Stigma
The pollen on the stigma is what bees take for honey
The stigma of a flower is on top of the style and is really sticky. The pollen that the flower produces and disperses sticks here. That's what makes you sneeze!
