To start, Venezuela, oficially,” republica bolivariana de venezuela” is a sovereing country located in the northern part of south america. Formed by a continental área and by a big number of islands in the caribbean sea, whose capital and most of the urban population is the city “caracas”. It owns a territorial extension of 916.445 km2. The continental territory limits to the north with the carribean sea and the atlantic ocean. To the west with Colombia ( one of it´s neigbour countries). To the south with Brasil and to the east with Guyana.

Tourism in Venezuela has developed considerably in recent decades, particularly due to its favorable geographical position , the variety of landscapes , the wealth of flora and fauna, the artistic manifestations and the privileged tropical climate of the country, which allows you to enjoy each región ( especially the beaches) throughout the year.

the culture of Venezuela is the result of initial syncretism and mainly of three different cultural branche: the european , particularly the spanish , the american indian and the african . In this sense , the culture of that country derives in the first instance from the spanish colonial process where to found Venezuela , the previous cultural base of different indigenous populations of the current venezuelan territory was synthesized in different degrees and forms, the cultural contribution of the european settlers highlighting the creation of nueva cadiz at the end of the 16th century , as well as the diversity of cultures brought by african slaves, mainly from central africa. Subsequently , the culture would continue to evolve after the Independence of that country at the inauguration of the republican period with various waves of migrants until today within the context of globalization.
