Then skim read the whole text once to get an idea about the topic, its treatment, the purpose of the text and the writer's point of view.* Look at the example, and find the part of the text where the answer will be. Usually, the answers to the questions follow the order that the questions appear in the text. In other words, you will find the answers in the same order in the text, as the questions in the page.*Look at the question and the three options in the example. Each of the options paraphrases something that is mentioned on the text. However, although two of the options might refer to the context of the options, only one option summarises the main message of the paragraph. *Underline any key words in the question or sentence and in the three options.*Look carefully at the options, and identify what elements you need to keep in mind, such as different verbs and detailed information.*Scan the text to identify the part of it that relates to the question.*There will be a reference to the content of every option in the text and some of the exact same words used in an incorrect option may be used in the text. You need to understand the overall meaning of the option and the question or sentence and then check if this is the same as the meaning in the relevant part of the text.*If you are not sure which option to choose, decide which options is definitely wrong first, and then look at the other two. Even if you're still not sure which option is correct, always give an answer. Don't leave any questions unanswered.
