THE SPANISH CIVIL WAR

why THIS TOPIC?

- It's a controversial topic of the Spanish History. - The unit plan could works for the oldest students. - Through those metodologies students can go into the topic and analised all the historical events and facts deeply. - They can create links with other historical and geographical periods.

ANALITIC TEAMS / sesons 2

- After the explanation of all the war and the historical context, I propose this activity: - Proponets: the have to create a list of pints they agreed with and state why. - Critics: students have to create a list of points they disagree with. - Detectives: ten key points. - Sumarizers: Summary about what is important in this text of Franco. - Questioners: Students have to create a list of questions about this material.

CARROUSEL / sesion 3

- Why is the image that Franco tried to present to the spanish population after he win the war? - What are the arguments that Franco present to justificate the war? - What are the compromises that Franco take with the spanish population after the war? - How this words were received for the republic side of the spanish population?

IMAGES SETS / sesion 4

Combination between the protocol to analysed the images, with the text set protocol (instead of texts, we're going to use a different sort of images, and add a new step)
