OBJECTIVE

To identify when it is necessary to use simple past o past continuous .

Simple Past

It is used to talk about completed actions, habits and facts in the past.

Examples: I was a child I worked in Alaska the last year. I ate mushrooms, yesteday.

Past continous

It is used to talk about background and simultaneous actions.

Examples: I was playing with my red car.

WHEN: To express an action that happened in the course of another action.

Example:

I was playing when my mother called me

WHEN /WHILE

While : To express two continous actions that happened at the same time.

I was texting while my mom was eating.

Example:
