Need + for

I need this for my class. She needs for you to wash the dishes. What do you need for your trip? What do you need this for?

I need a new backpack.The cat needs a toy. Mike doesn't need new shoes.

Need + Infinitive

I need to do my homework.Fishes need to live in water. Susan doesn't need to buy new shoes.
