At the Crafting Station, students will have access to a variety of materials such as: paint, markers, pencils, cardboard, construction paper, scissors, glue, and much, much more! Students will use the station to create things that may not require larger tools. For example, students may work on a painting project or create a diorama. The possibilities are endless!
At the Laser Engraving Station, students will have access to one laser engraver. Students will also be able to use the CorelDRAW program which will be available on two desktops at the station. On Corel, students will be able to create designs they want to either laser cut or engrave. For their creations, students will choose from a variety of materials such as: carboard, plywood, MDF, and acrylic.
At the LEGO Building Station, students will be able to choose from a variety of LEGOs for their creations. Students will have access to standard blocks as well as LEGO people and other accessories.
The 3D Printing Station will include two 3D printers for students to utilize. At this station, students will use their individual laptops to access Tinkercad in order to create their own 3D designs. Students will also be able to access Thingaverse to look at/use already created 3D files. Furthermore, this station will include examples of 3D prints to inspire those utilzing the station.
At the Digital Making Station, students will have access to 10 iPads where they can choose to work on:
Scratch
Snap
Stop Motion Studio
Book Creator
Twine
CoSpaces
and More!
Students will have the option to use the available iPads or their own devices if applicable.
At the Sewing Station, students will have access to 2 sewing machines, thread, sewing needles, fabric, crochet materials, knitting materials, and more! Students will be able to utilize this station to sew, crochet, knit, macrame, and design their creations.
