Advantages

1) Some public universities are free for international students and paid ones are cheaper than in other countries, which gives you a lot of benefit since with a small budget you can prepare very well. 2) It has a large number of ethnic groups, cultures and religions, which allows any student to have the opportunity to integrate with students from anywhere in the world. 3)Their language is one of the most spoken and important in the world. It is a good opportunity to learn it!

Subjects

The educational system in Brazil is divided into 4 different levels or stages. Of these five levels, only primary education and secondary education are compulsory.

~Pre-primary or pre-school education:it is totally optional.There are two options: Maternal or public nurseries for children. ~Primary education: Children under the age of six can enroll in the primary level of education, as long as they turn six in the first semester. ~.Secondary education: Attendance at this optional level of education varies by region and socioeconomic status. ~Upper secondary education:Students can opt for vocational training by taking it at the same time as their academic studies; training that will help prepare them for a specific trade or career.

Disadvantages

1) Many people find Portuguese difficult to speak. 2The climate in many parts of Brazil is extremely hot and humid. Which can be difficult for some people to handle. 3)Security is a major issue. Most of the major cities in Brazil have a high crime rate.

Schools

It is offered in two types of institutions: in day centers or similar institutions up to the age of three (maternal education, "creche"); and in preschool schools between the ages of 4 to 6 years ("UMEI")

Hours of study

The school schedule has two shifts: from 7 am to noon, or from 1 pm to 6 pm. Currently, there are about 10 subjects that all students must see on a mandatory basis, in addition to some electives such as art and cooking. Compulsory schooling in Brazil by law is compulsory and free from 4 years to 17 years.
