The Add Current DateTime button adds a time stamp to the Notes field.

When selecting a company for a new contact, you can check the Copy business fields box which will copy the address and phone number of the selected company into the contact's details. This will not overwrite any fields that are already filled in.

You can use Contact Groups as a way to group contacts. You can also filter them on the Contact Management page and in Exports.

Contact Groups in Repfabric can sync with your “Categories” in Outlook (If you have 1 or 2-way sync enabled). These are NOT personal categories for each user. Your Admin can configure your Contact Group List in subtables. Then each person should create those exact categories in Outlook.

Marking a Contact Do Not Email can be useful when making a Contacts Export so that you do not include someone who does not want to be contacted when making a mailing list.

Product Interest can be used to easily associate Contacts with a certain group or category of products. Your Admin can also create this list in subtables.

If you are not on a sales team for a customer, you will not be able to see the contacts for that company. If you check the “Globally Visible” box inside of a contact, everyone in your company will be able to see that contact no matter what sales teams they are on.

The “Primary” check box is to make a person the main contact on an account. This means it will automatically populate their name in an Opportunity or an Activity Journal when you create one for their company.

Marking a Contact Do Not Email can be useful when making a Contacts Export so that you do not include someone who does not want to be contacted when making a mailing list.

If a user is setup to sync to Outlook and a specific Contact is not syncing to Outlook for whatever reason, check this box to force the Contact to Sync to Outlook.

If someone leaves a company or retires, simply click on the red x to clear the Company for this Contact.
