Définition

La contamination est la transmission de germes. Elle peut se faire de deux manières : exogène ou endogène.

Contamination exogène

Les germes responsables sont extérieurs à la personne.

Contamination endogène

Autocontamination de la personne avec ses propres germes (soins, patient immuno-déprimé, manque d'hygiène).
