El derecho penal Es la rama del derecho público que se encarga de definir las reglas de conducta relacionadas con los delitos y sus penas, así como las medidas de prevención para proteger a la sociedad de la criminalidad, con el fin de preservar el bienestar y mantenerla en paz.

Diferentes elementos sobre la historia del derecho penal en México y las fuentes de éste. Entre las fuentes, la jurisprudencia tiene un lugar especial en el sistema de justicia del país por las precisiones que se dan a diversas situaciones jurídicas.

Interpretar la ley significa: Entender su sentido, saber descifrar que es lo que esta trasmitiendo y poder explicar lo que se quiere decir.

Al hablar de ámbitos de validez de la ley penal, se trata de saber hasta dónde se puede aplicar una ley, o determinar la ley a utilizar en un caso.

Delito Además de ser una conducta del hombre que daña a la sociedad, el delito es una violación a la norma jurídica promulgada por el Estado.Los presupuestos del delito son aquellos elementos jurídicos que dictan qué es un delito. Gracias a ellos se sabe qué está bien y qué está mal.
