Sensitive Normal

Examples include...

  • Name, Class, School, etc
  • Financial info (e.g. FAS)
  • Attendance
  • Exam Results
  • NRIC Number

Sensitive High

Examples include...

  • Counselling Notes
  • Offence Notes
  • Staff Appraisal
  • Case info of victims of sexual assault

NON-Sensitive

Examples include...

  • Publicly available info such as
    • photos on social media
    • business contact details

Correct Classification of Data

• Under-classifying data will result in under-protection, exposing important data to risks and threats. • Over-classifying data will result in over-protection, causing unncessary friction in your daily work and your agency’s operations due to additional processes required (e.g. password protecting the data etc).
