You will share the invite code with your students at the beginning of the term. They must join with the school google account to save their work and return to any activities they haven’t finished.

To find Desmos activities Pre-made

ALWAYS SEARCH ON GOOGLE

Type in the topic you want to teach and add “desmos activity” at the end of your search. More than likely, you will find multiple activities. When you decide which one you want to add, click on the + symbol. This will add it to your collection.

You do not have to create a new collection, but it will help you keep all of your activities organized. Some teachers make a collection for each unit of their course so that when you find a new activity you like, you can just add to that unit collection. If you teach multiple grade levels, you could also make a collection for each grade level.

To assign an activity

To assign an activity: Click on the activity you want to assign and choose Assign. You will find Assign on the right side of your screen. You can Assign to your classes or use a single session code. If assigning to a class, just click which class or classes you want to assign the activity to.

Once all your students have joined your class, they will no longer need a code. They just go to student.desmos.com and the new activity you have assigned will be in their assignment list. You will just tell them which one you want them to choose.
