- Shift Hours - between 5 am and midnight
- Shift Days - 7 days a week, if you are not in class, you may be in a clinical site
- Rotations - new clinical facility each semester
- All students need an "equal" experience, so you will be working all shifts: days, swings, weekdays, and weekends.
RADR 1166 Practicum 1
Practical, general workplace training supported by an individualized learning plan developed by the employer, college, and student.
Shifts will vary dependent upon clinical site
- 7 am - 3:30 pm
- 8 am - 4: 30 pm

RADR 1411 Basic Radiographic Procedures
Wednesday Lecture 10 am - 1 pm Lab 2 pm - 5 pm
An introduction to radiographic positioning terminology, manipulating of equipment, positioning and alignment of the anatomic structure and equipment, and evaluation of images for demonstration of basic anatomy.

RADR 2209 Radiographic Imaging Equipment
RADR 1309 Introduction to Radiography and Patient Care
Tuesday 2 pm - 4 pm
Tuesday 9 am - 12 pm
An overview of the historical development of radiography, basic radiation protection, an introduction to medical terminology, ethical and legal issues for health care professionals, and an orientation to the profession and to the health care system. Patient assessment, infection control procedures, emergency and safety procedures, communication and patient interaction skills, and basic pharmacology.
Equipment and physics of x-ray production. Includes basic x-ray circuits. Also examines the relationship of conventional and digital equipment components to the imaging process
