In 1988, Santa Anna School was inaugurated, called to serve girls and boys (3 to 12 years old) from the neighboring areas, both from Premià de Dalt and Premià de Mar.

In September 2021 the school saw a major change. We became an "Intitut Escola", adding secondary education. Now we teach pre-school, primary and secondary education(3 to 16 years old students). There are around 460 students. In June 2025 the first promotion will have completed the compulsory studies at Santa Anna.

Students learn three LANGUAGES at school

SPANISH is also spoken and studied as a subject, 3 or 4 h/week, from 6 to 16.

CATALAN is the language of communication at school. Students speak it and study subjects through Catalan such as Science, Maths, Art or PE.

ENGLISH is the 3rd language at school. Students learn it 3h/week in primary and 4 h/week in secondary.

SOCIAL NETWORKS

We have been developing Erasmus projects since 2014. We currently have an Erasmus Accreditation from 2021 to 2027.

Our Erasmus goals:

• Increase educational success in academic achievement in external evaluation texts and in internal results at main subjects.

• Raise the students and teachers digital skills in order to become a reference center in the educational use of information and communication technologies.
• Implement project-based learning (PBL) to develop the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) to raise awareness and increase global citizenship.

Our Erasmus goals:

• Improve students' plurilingualism with the application of Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), eTwinning and Erasmus projects.
• Expand students involvement particularly for those with educational needs and/or risk of social exclusion, and their families, thanks to the participation in European projects.
