Apps Launcher Icon or "Waffle"
This array of icons is known as the Apps Launcher icon or better known as the "Waffle". This is where you will go to find the apps we will use in class, such as google classroom, google drive, google docs and other google apps. Click the x in the black circle to close this information window.
Open a New Tab
The plus sign beside the window tab is what you will click on if you want to open a new page to go to another website while keeping the other pages you have open. Click the x in the black circle to close this information window.
Google Search Bar
This is the google search bar. You can type in any thing you want to search here and google will find you information on your topic. You can also click on the little microphone and tell google what you want to search for. This is a good tool to use if you are not sure how to spell something. Address Bar
This white area is called the url location or address bar. The URL is the address for the page you want to visit. mes.daretolearn.org is the URL or address of our school's webpage. Every page on the internet has an address. Click the x in the black circle to close this information window.
Maximze Window
This is the icon to press if you want to make your window full screen. Click the x in the black circle to close this information window.
Window Tabs
The yellow arrow is pointing to the window tab. Tabs on a chrome window are similar to the tabs in a notebook. They open different pages and we can turn the pages by clicking on the tabs. Click the x in the black circle to close this information window.
