This book "Sigue Mi Voz" is of Ariana Godoy, is about mental health, anxiety, confidence and to overcome traumas that the protagonist have, is easy to read, also the book have parts about love and friendship.💜
To everyone out there who is as much a Nightmare before Christmas fanatic as I am, here is a book I recommend. This is after the events of the movie where Jack and Sally fall in love and get married making her the new queen of Halloween town. With many twists and turns, a new and genuinely creepy villain I believe this is a good extension of the movies story from the point of view of our sweet, introspective and deceptively bad ass Sally.
Doctor Sleep: Doctor Sleep, the sequel to The Shinning, chronicles the adulthood of Danny Torrance. Looking to make a fresh start, Danny Torrance moves to New Hampshire. This start, which he thinks will be a new and trouble-free start, drags him on an adventure with the power of "shinning" and meets Abra. They run into trouble with a team calling themselves the "True Brotherhood" who want Abra. While trying to finish the tense adventure they started together by taking care not to hurt their loved ones, they have to face some things from the past again.
The Shinning: The Shinning book describes the Torrance family's winters at the Overlook hotel. Jack Torrance is responsible for the winter security of his new business hotel. Having done this work, he also created time for the new book he will write. Torrance, who thinks he will have a good winter with his family, discovers some things he doesn't know about the hotel. The special ability called "shinning" that Danny also has begins to give them a strange and tense winter.
Pageboy, Elliot Page's autobiography, is a memoir of his journey to self discovery. Pageboy is a timely read to elevate Queer and LGBTQIA+ voices and experiences for pride month. In his memoir, Elliot Page, reflects on his journey of self discovery as it relates to his sexuality and gender. This read provides insight into his life and provides the reader an opportunity gain understanding to empathize with Elliot's story and the trans community as a whole.
This book is self-help but it does it in a very fun way, it helps you understand that no matter how many problems you have, you have the power to get ahead.
I, Kirke: The book is a mythology book, the daughter of the god Helios and the nympha Perseis. Due to some mistakes she made, she was exiled to the island of Aiaie. The book tells the nympa Kirke about her experiences.
Heartstopper by Alice Oseman, Heartstopper is a book about 2 boys who will be the main characters, Charlie and Nick, the book is really based on an LGBT relationship, and how the characters cope.💗
Imagine by Pauline Margaret Edwards My review is on a children’s book that is due for release on the 21 July 2023, it was written by my mum and I have been heavily involved in the publication, I grew up on these sorts of stories. The book has five short stories about everyday items, this includes a pumpkin (designed by my late grandfather), a button, a drop of water, a slipper and two feet. They show that sometimes things can look bad and scary, but if we keep up hope, eventually you will see the happiness again. It's done in a way that is not too scary or complex for children to understand but does show the realities of life that sometimes things won’t always go our way but hope never dies. My favourite is the drop of water because it reminds me of the environment, the drop of water goes on a journey to the earth from the sky and then back up again.
The book is called Through the Rain written by Ariana Godoy. The story is about Apollo already studying at the university that his master's degree wants to be a psychologist to help people. One day, in the street there were boys who abused him in the street and he was unconscious until a girl named Rain came to save him and that's where he met her and her friend named Xan. Among his friends there are problems with his brother from Rain that he abuses his partner Xan and Apollo interfere in his relationship to help Xan but there he realizes that he has feelings for him
This is a story about little women who become adults and face adult problems, whether it's forgiveness of insults or a declaration of love, which you can't reciprocate. This book will appeal to everyone who loves classics, and the film of the same name with Timothy Chalamet and Emma Watson will make you love this story forever.
"Call Me by Your Name" is the story of a sudden and powerful romance that blossoms between an adolescent boy and a summer guest at his parents' cliffside mansion on the Italian Riviera. Each is unprepared for the consequences of their attraction, when, during the restless summer weeks, unrelenting currents of obsession, fascination, and desire intensify their passion and test the charged ground between them. Recklessly, the two verge toward the one thing both fear they may never truly find again: total intimacy. It is an instant classic and one of the great love stories of our time.
A truly beautifully written retelling of the story of Achillies & Patroclus. If you are into Greek mythology then you will love this story. Also LGBTQ+ themes 😊
