Remove watches as the energy in the battery can affect the energy of your arm and therefore the quality of the treatment you give.
Protect your back by checking your seating position is the right height for working. Keep your back straight and relaxed as you work.
If you are standing to do the treatments then ensure that you keep your knees relaxed and soft (ie slightly bent).
Always stay relaxed and comfortable yourself as the client will notice how you are feeling. Stay relaxed and keep your arms, wrists and shoulders relaxed at all times. Find a sitting or standing position that suits you and your height.
Protect the client’s clothing with a towel and either blow any fallen ash or flick it away. The ash is very fine but may mark clothing so cover all areas over the neck and shoulders.
