Outline and time expressions
It's always a good idea to make an outline before writing. In this case, make an outline in chronological order of the activities you do in your daily routine. For example:
- Wake up
- Breakfast
- Shower
Remember to connect the ideas using time expressions: then, first, after that, at 8 o'clock.
Solution
For lunch, she orders a Spanish omelette and a salad. At half past three, she takes a bicycle to go to the university. She has classes from 4 pm to 8 pm.
Checklist
- I use the first person (" I ") to talk about me.
- I use verbs to describe routines (wake up, have lunch, etc.).
- My routine is in chronological order.
- I make short sentences to express one idea.
- I connect sentences with time expressions (then, first, after that, etc.).
Solution
