ReFleece products started to be sold at small businesses, especially around the Boston Area in 2016. They have expanded, and are now selling all over the Northeast, with partnerships in:

Palmer's time at Patagonia

Sam had spent three years working at Patagonia, where he discovered problems with how many items they were keeping that they could not sell or throw away. Thinking about these issues, he decided to take action against this large amount of waste.

In May of 2023, Mary Browning of the Boston Globe interviewed Sam Palmer and published an article about the business.This feature was their first time being covered by a large media outlet. The Article included:

Online Marketplace

ReFleece's online marketplace has been running for about a year and a half. Anyone can sell outdoor items that they are done with that do not need to be recycled. People can also donate a percent of the money they make on the platform to multiple environmental nonprofit organizations.

Why was ReFleece Founded?

In 2012, Palmer and Feller started the business with the goal of fixing the textile waste problems of large corporations. Originally starting with Patagonia, ReFleece made lifestyle products out of their wasted materials.
