PRESENT HABITS

Por ejemplo: I AM ALWAYS LOOKING FOR NEW OPPORTUNITIES. MY MOM IS ALWAYS TELLING ME WHAT TO DO!

PRESENT HABITS

Por ejemplo: KEEP (S) + ING Fíjate en las frases: MY FLATMATE KEEPS BOSSING ME AROUND LIKE HE’S MY DAD! I CAN’T STAND HIM!

Practice Venga, prueba a ver cómo queda la siguiente oración: I keep _____ (make) the same mistake.

PRESENT HABITS

Esta frase también la podemos formular utilizando: WILL KEEP + ING Mira los ejemplos: SHE WILL KEEP TEXTING ME UNTIL I REPLY Vamos a practicarlo también.

Practice Completa la siguiente oración: Emma _____ (forget) to call me regardless of how many times i ask her to do so

PRESENT HABITS

La forma más común para expresar hábitos es utilizando: WILL + INFINITIVE Como en los siguientes ejemplos: BEN WILL WALK HIS DOG UP TO FIVE TIMES A DAY

Practice Vamos a ver cómo queda la siguiente oración: June gets so excited about that movie that she _____ (will) tell you all about it before the opening scene is over!

PRESENT HABITS

Por ejemplo: WHAT’S HIS NAME AGAIN? I KEEP (ON) FORGETTING IT. ¡Vamos a practicarlo!

Practice Completa la siguiente frase: If you keep on _____ (purchase) expensive things, you will run out of money.

PRESENT HABITS

Además, podemos utilizar: "TEND TO" o "HAVE A TENDENCY TO" + INFINITIVE Para describir acciones o estados típicos, que se hacen con normalidad. Por ejemplo: I TEND TO BUY ONE NEW BOOK EVERY WEEK Venga, ¡te toca!

Fíjate en la oración, a ver cómo quedaría: Ben tends to _____ (keep) busy during the week.

PAST HABITS

WHEN I WAS A CHILD, I USED TO LOVE READING. I WOULD BUY AT LEAST ONE NEW BOOK PER WEEK. I KEPT DOING THAT UNTIL I WAS GIVEN KINDLE FOR ONE OF MY BIRTHDAYS. FROM THEN ON, I WAS ONLY PURCHASING BOOKS ONLINE.

PAST HABITS

Al igual que 'USED TO': WOULD + INFINITIVE Fíjate: JAKE WOULD DO HIS HOMEWORK REGULARLY. Mira los siguientes ejemplos: BEN WOULD GET UPSET EASILY. I WOULD GO JOGGING EVERY OTHER DAY AS A TEEN.

PAST HABITS

KEPT + ING Por ejemplo: JANE KEPT TRYING TO BOOK HER FLIGHT FOR AN ENTIRE WEEK.

PAST HABITS

Por ejemplo: MIKE WAS CONSTANTLY ASKING SILLY QUESTIONS.
